Two young people from the area of Sub Traditional Authority (STA Mizinga) have been elected into their area’s Village Development Committee (VDC) after lobbying meetings with community and traditional leaders on youth inclusion and its benefits.
The Malawi SRHR Alliance through Power to Youth Project introduced Youth Advocates in the project’s impact areas whose duties revolve around promoting the rights and welfare of young people at community level.
