Malawi SRHR Alliance convened a Termination of Pregnancy (ToP) bill popularization workshop for state actors, elected duty bearers and young people in Machinga district on 22 June 2023.
The meeting aimed at raising awareness of the drafted TOP bill to the key stakeholders and validating the extended grounds to the needs of the Adolescent Girls and Young women in the district. The meeting clarified some misinformation regarding the ToP bill which led to the commitment of the stakeholders to raise awareness of the same and support the advocacy interventions.
