On 25 August 2022, Dedza District Executive Committee (DEC) gave the Malawi Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance a nod to commence the implementation of Transforming Lives Project in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Kasumbu in the district.
Further to this, Transforming Lives Project mainly uses a youth-led social accountability monitoring model towards a more conducive policy environment that enables positive SRHR outcomes among adolescents and young women.
Transforming Lives Project is being funded by SAFAIDS.
