On 19 August 2022, the Malawi Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Alliance held an inception meeting with Dedza District Health Management Committee (DHMT) ahead of a one-year project titled Transforming Lives which the Alliance will be implementing in the district.
The Alliance organized the meeting with the DHMT to seek technical input, and advice before rolling out the project. The committee provided inputs and recommendations on how the project should be implemented in the area to empower young people to voice out their SRHR needs.
Further to this, the committee also made some recommendations to ensure that a conducive policy environment is created to contribute positively towards SRHR outcomes among adolescents.
