About us
The Malawi Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Alliance is a registered Non-Governmental Organisation comprising of six local organisations that are jointly working together to promote the sexual and reproductive health rights of young people, women and marginalized groups in the country. The six organisations include Centre for Alternatives for Victimized Women and Children
(CAVWOC), Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR), Centre for Youth Empowerment and Civic Education (CYECE), Family Planning Association of Malawi (FPAM), Youth net and Counselling (YONECO) and the Coalition of Women Living with HIV and AIDS (COWLHA). The Alliance was established in 2010 and has a governance Steering Committee of seven members and a functional secretariat in Area 15 in Lilongwe. The Alliance is a founding member of the African Network for SRHR Alliance (ANSA).
